About me!

Hi, I’m Rebecca.

This blog is room for me to focus on exploring some of my favorite things in the world

(1) Having a fantastic beer, preferably with fantastic people.

(2) Baking someone a tasty treat and watching a smile light up their face.

And my new challenge (3) Combining the two to start baking & cooking with beer

I’m twenty-something, usually watching a hockey game if I’m enjoying a beer at home, and I judge a weekend’s success by how much flour is covering me by the end of the day.

I don’t know what I’d do without my bikes, coffee, puppies, playing in the snow, and sundresses.

I’m composed of many pieces from states, countries, and cultures. Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Italy, France, Indiana. Currently in Muncie-town, Indiana St. Charles, Missouri.

I love parentheses, ampersands, oxford commas, long sentences, and lists. Can you tell?

Never got around to writing an “About Me” section. Probably because I wouldn’t know what to say. When you mentioned that you like lists, I instantly thought of “High Fidelity” by Nick Hornby. Have you read it? It’s chock full of Top 5 lists. A sweet and funny book. I really enjoyed the film too.

    Great picture by the way!

    Cheers!

I randomly found your blog and I gotta say I’m impressed. The quality of photos, the type of beer you’ve tried, and the baked goodies. Oddly enough, I realized you’re also in Muncie (crazy). Cheers to you, fellow beer lover. Keep it up, “chirp chirp”, and all that good stuff.

It’s a small world, eh? I swear, anywhere you turn, you run into someone from Indiana. Thank you for the kind words!

Thank you so much! I’m so happy to find others enjoy the same topic as well. It took almost everything I had to resist eating all the crepes before getting pictures of them 🙂

I just read your bit on taking a “solo vacation.” Ohh that hits home for me! I’ve been checking this blog sporadically for quite some time, and I must say – you have quite the eye for photography….and ohh yea, did I mention the bakes/brews (thumbs, two of them, straight up like a nice bourbon). If you get the urge, I recommend “solo concert going,” it’s something I think most people should try!
